The arrival of GTA IV was amazing, for gamers their long waiting is over, but for critics. . . well there’s a lot to talk about. Ten days after it’s release GTA IV has totally fascinated its fans. Rockstar put the cap with it above all other available games out there, featuring with the new graphic improvements, new features and gameplay. According to IGN’s Review GTA IV is definitively the best game ever. I don’t want to go into other details for I’m not a gamer myself, instead I’ll provide below some interesting facts where you can get a perfect description about every inch regarding GTA IV.

However, there are two things actually that pushed me to write about this game.

  1. In its first week of release, GTA IV was sold in over 6 million copies world-wide, which overpasses not only its previous versions but as a matter of fact all other games on the market could score on their first week of availability, even more than what Microsoft Corp. Halo 3 has scored.
  2. The main characters personality represents a mentality of Easter Eastern Europeans. Furthermore, one of main protagonists is an Albanian called Bledar Morina wherewith I’m pretty excited of and feeling glad about this fact.

Nevertheless, besides IGN’s review another more of a freelance’s review is available which I just got aware of, by doing an occasional surf on the net. Before you jump in to see the video review I feel obligated to inform you about the reviewer. He uses an uncensored freedom of speech thus swearing can be heard throughout the video. You’ve been alerted! :)

Eventually, excluding all my previews experience and unwillingness to play games, I think I’m going to try GTA IV out this time, for I must obliterate my curiosity. You probably have already . . . ?

From the articles I`ve read on web, actually the story is all about an East-European, Niko Bellic, who emigrates to Liberty City in the United States after his cousin Roman insisted on it. Roman went to America earlier and he sent his cousin an e-mail in where he told him that he totally made it in Liberty City. Later than, Niko decided to go to America to experience the American Dream. But, when he arrives in Liberty City, he discoveres that Roman lied to him. He runs a taxi company in Broker and is in trouble with criminal organisations.
Regarding Bledar Morina, i think that he represents a typical Albanian who is engaged in criminal orgaizations. Moreover, Bledar represents what a small number of Albanians do.

Korab, thank you for this detailed explanation. As i cited above I haven’t yet played the game, but the story actually seems to be very interesting. I might probably soon get involved into it a little more to experience the inner feeling of it.
As for Albanians, well I wouldn’t like to jump into that, but strongly hope that we can be emphasized somewhere sometimes for good.
