Another absence from the normal life flow April 4th, 2008
Taking the decision to soldierize is not a walk in the park movement, it’s a serious and moreover crucial life decision that either you regret after some time or love it infinitively. I mainly love all of the military stuff except being away from home, relatives, friends and even more my darling, but that what being a soldier is all about, isn’t it? Restrictions, confinements, stress, mental and physical pressure, strict discipline, trainings and such. When I’m at trainings tomorrow I’ll be leaving Prishtina for another field training in Ferizaj (another city of Kosova) with a duration of three days and two nights.
So tonight and during the weekend I’ll be staying on one of Kosova’s mountains, potentially full of snow and wet ground, not to mention the cold weather.

We already prepared our backpacks and put everything in order so basically we’re more than ready to live. The deadline is 1700 with no exceptions of any possible delay, and as I write now the time is 1628. If you ask me how I feel, well I feel a little boring though for I planned to work on some stuff this weekend, take my holiday advantage and work on my web application for bachelor thesis.
I realized that while not being a soldier and listening to militant stories from soldiers people usually find interesting, that’s indeed how I felt before joining the armed forces. Now all those stories doesn’t look odd to me anymore, because simply I’m a protagonist of those tales. Finally if you’re interested to read and get to know a little more about cadets or better to say us in particular you can browse and read the article here posted by BBC News describing some details about the academy program I’m going through. And here are some pictures of the cadets and ongoings also posted by BBC News.
In addition to that, a very good well described comparison between a random student’s life and a cadet life you can read an essay written by my too hommies V. Krelani and F. Demiri in their very first year attending the program which I think it’s really worth reading.
Finally, I don’t regret for none of the actions I’ve taking in my life, I love every small and big part of it, maybe it’s about the awareness I’m learning, the buildup of my character and other benefitions I will earn after graduations and throughout the life as a military officer.
To understand my position and the way I feel I strongly recommend you listen to a song singed by Chris Daughtry called Home, for your ease of movement I’ll provide it below and home you’ll enjoy it. Cheers and looking forward to meet with you after three days
Update: Considering all this burdens I have to pass through you may justify the fact that sometimes it takes ma a week or so to prepare an article and publish, hope you agree
